WB800N Bacillus subtilis Strains - 100ul
The WB800N Bacillus subtilis strain (100 µL) is a protease-deficient, recombinant expression host widely used for high-yield secretion of heterologous proteins in Gram-positive bacterial systems. Derived from Bacillus subtilis 168, the WB800N strain contains eight extracellular protease gene deletions, including nprE, aprE, epr, bpr, mpr, nprB, vpr, and wprA, which significantly reduce protein degradation and enhance extracellular protein stability.
This strain is ideal for industrial biotechnology, enzyme production, and secretory protein research, offering a clean background for the production of recombinant enzymes, peptides, and biopharmaceuticals without interference from host proteases.
